This explains what we collect, why, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It covers our partners, the businesses we serve, and the customers of those businesses.
01Who is responsible for your information
Binolab (“Bino”, “we”) is a business based in Montréal, Québec. We decide what personal information is collected through the Bino partner program and the Bino loyalty card service, and why.
Under Québec’s Law 25, a business must name the person responsible for protecting personal information. For Binolab that is Yassine Aabdaoui, who can be reached at binojugg@gmail.com.
02What we collect, and from whom
| Who | What we collect | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Partners (people who join the program) | Name, email, phone, mailing address, social media handle, your answers on the application form, and the record of sales credited to you | To accept you into the program, ship your demo kit, credit your sales and pay your commissions |
| Businesses (cafés and shops) | Business name, owner or contact name, email, phone, business address, and your billing record | To set up your loyalty cards, install them, support you and bill you |
| Customers of a business | Name, email or phone, and the stamps collected on their card | To run that business’s loyalty programme. This information belongs to the business, not to us |
We do not collect payment card numbers. Payments are handled by Stripe, and we never see or store full card details.
03Information about a business’s own customers
When a customer signs up for a loyalty card at a shop, that information is collected for the shop. The shop decides what it is used for. We hold and process it on the shop’s behalf, under the service terms.
If you are a customer of a shop using Bino and you want your information corrected or deleted, you can ask us directly and we will act on it, and we will also tell the shop.
04Who else sees it
We use a small number of service providers to run the business. Each one only receives what it needs:
- Stripe — payments, billing and payouts
- GoHighLevel — our CRM, booking and email
- Boomerangme — the platform the digital loyalty cards run on
- Netlify — hosting for this website
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.
05Information stored outside Québec
Our service providers store and process information on servers located outside Québec, mainly in the United States and the European Union. Law 25 requires us to tell you this plainly, and to assess that the information receives adequate protection where it goes.
By using the program or the service, you understand that your information may be held outside the province.
06How long we keep it
- Partner records — for as long as you are a partner, and for seven years after your last commission, because tax law requires it
- Business records — for as long as you are a client, and seven years after, for the same reason
- Loyalty card customers — for as long as the shop remains a client, then deleted within 90 days
- Applications that go nowhere — 12 months, then deleted
07Your rights
Under Law 25 and Canadian federal privacy law you can ask us to:
- Show you what personal information we hold about you
- Correct anything inaccurate or incomplete
- Delete information we no longer need to keep
- Stop using it by withdrawing your consent, which may mean we can no longer provide the service
- Send it to you in a structured, commonly used digital format, or send it to someone else
Write to binojugg@gmail.com. We answer within 30 days. There is no charge.
08If something goes wrong
If personal information in our care is lost or exposed and there is a real risk of serious harm, we will notify the people affected and the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec, as the law requires. We keep a register of any such incident.
If you are unhappy with how we handled your information, write to binojugg@gmail.com first — we would rather fix it. If that does not resolve it, you can complain to the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
09Cookies and this website
This site does not set tracking cookies and does not run advertising pixels. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
Our booking and application forms are provided by GoHighLevel and may set cookies necessary for the form to work.
10Changes
We may update this policy. If a change meaningfully affects how we handle your information, we will post the new version here with a new effective date, and tell partners and clients by email.
